As a Church of England Academy our aim is to provide a successful educational community for all students based on Christian values. Our mission statement is ‘Believe in yourself, in others, in God.’
Our belief is that every student is unique, gifted and valued by God. This underpins our approach to both the curriculum and our pastoral support. We aim to develop confident students who have a strong sense of respect and the ability to make good decisions. We encourage students to develop belief in themselves in order to pursue their ambitions. Our students are taught how to be resilient, work independently and take charge of their own learning.
Every student belongs to one of our three Houses. They work together to raise charitable funds and complete for the House Cup. This affords them the opportunity to work with others towards common goals and celebrate each other’s success.
Students are encouraged to become respectful, supportive and considerate members of the community. They are passionate about making a difference whether at local, national or global level.
